About Us

Pastor Shirley Washington Eiland is a born again believer who loves the Lord Jesus Christ. She is happily married to a Roy Eiland. She has two sons, Melvin Howland who went home to be with the Lord in 2013 and Bishop Myrondous Washington of Atlanta Georgia. She is the proud grandmother of four grandchildren, Melvin Jr., Myla Alan, Alaina Rose and Myrissa Yvette Washington. She has three step daughters, Vonda Eiland, Kimberly Crawford, and Raven Eiland.

She has been privileged to teach numerous bible studies. She has served by ministering at nursing homes and homes for women recovering from substance abuse and youth detention centers.

She joined New Life Christian Center where she served for twenty years under the leadership of Apostle Auzzie Comer and Cheryl Comer. She also connected to Agape Global Church in Atlanta Ga for five years under the leadership of Bishop Myrondous Washington and Dishan Washington. 

She is the founder and Counselor of Redeeming Love Help Center. Redeeming Love ministers to those suffering from depression, addiction, grief and other emotional issues. 

She wrote and self published her first book entitled “You Will Survive”.

She retired from the City of Opelika as Purchasing Agent.

She is currently the Pastor of The House of Healing Worship Center where she and her husband founded the ministry in July of 2016.

She has a passion for the lost and hurting and enjoys homemaking in her spare time.

Church Administrator:

Roy Eiland is a born again believer dedicated to Jesus Christ and to the work of the ministry.  He has faithfully served in several capacities in Church Administration.

Roy is happily married to Shirley Washington Eiland.  He is the proud father of three daughters, Vanda Eiland, Kim Crawford, Raven Eiland and one step son, Bishop Myrondous Washington.

Roy was employed by AT&T until July 2012, retiring after 40 years of service.

At an early age, he became a dedicated member of Shady Grove CME Church in Salem, Alabama.  He immediately became a junior member of the Stewart Board of Shady Grove.  He was a member of the Gospel Choir where he later became president.  He served as church secretary for many years under the leadership of several pastors.  He was elected chairman of the Stewart Board and served until 2016.  He began teaching Sunday School until 1999 and continued to teach the adult class until he resigned his positions to become a member of The House of Healing Worship Center.

Roy presently serves as chairman of the Board of Directors of The House of Healing Worship Center where he oversees the day to day operations of the church.

He is passionate about the Lord and his church.
